Best place for noob groups

I, unfortunately, only have a couple hours to play each day and this occurs when the servers are at the lowest player count for the day (200-400). I'm just finishing the noob area in Butcher Block as a cleric(lvl 6), and am ready to start grouping. Is there any better zone for me to go to that tends to have better success at finding a group? If they are all like butcher block, I'm gonna be out of luck :(. Also, I need to get to qeynos to remove the PVP flag I accidentally put on. Does anyone know if I can be grouped with a druid and be ported closer? (or TL'd by wiz while I'm PVP?)

What time will you be on tomorrow I might be able to help you get to Qeynos... Although I don't know how you remove the PVP flag you got. You sure you got to go to Qeynos for that?

I also am not sure about porting you, but I think even with you flagged my Druid can port you.

Maybe you ought to consider hunting in EC where you can at least get buffs from high levels if it's hard to find players to group with. You can stay in EC till 12-13 level, then easily find groups in Oasis most times of the day from 13-20.

Ya, Removing PVP is done at the Priest of Discord there..i was just concerned that u might not be able to port me as, at least, a Red layer cannot receive beneficial buffs spells for sure, so idk if a port spell would hold on me. It would be awesome if you could help, though.. /who all Kadaru to look for me!!

What's your characters name? Also, can you not use the PoD in Gfay? It has to be the Qeynos one? NM I see you listed your name I will watch for you.

Toons name is Kadaru..and, no..it has to be the Qeynos POD. He's the only one that gives the correct dialog to have the effect removed. Hes a roaming POD somewhere near the entrance. And I assume your toon name is the same as this forum's name?, oh..i hope u also don't mind escorting me at least thru N.Karena and West karena...or invis me if u think it could hold long enough or not be seen thru

Don't stay in qeynos after you fix the PoD issue unless you want to solo. The most populated leveling pay from level like 6-10 is either gfay+crushbone OR east commonlands+nro+oasis.
They're populated 24/7.

Qeynos has a lot of cool disease themed animal quests for bonus exp now, but it's a very underpopulated area of the game and if you're playing off-peak you might never see another soul.

Oh also field of bone+kurn's is also a good leveling area, but only for iksar.

It's the Priest of Order you need to get unflagged and yeah AFAIK there's only one, in Qeynos.

Orc hill in gfay, nek forrest for darkelves, field of so much stuff to kill for iskar

Tons of grouping in GFay Orc Hill and CB. EC is fine if you must always have buffs, but outside of orc camp groups, pickins' can be slim. Sure, NRO and Oasis provide a convenient path, so there's that.

If you do go the EC route, build a group and head to Befallen in the teens. You may want to bank or corpse a set of keys though! Totally badass risk/reward for teen groups and great XP.

Everyone always says this, but personally I've leveled multiple characters up in the Qeynos area and I've always seen other players there. Once you get to Blackburrow even the Shaman and other solo-focused classes need to group up (unless they stay up top), so I rarely had trouble finding a group there. Not necessarily a full group, but enough people to level with at least.

Of course, population varies with playtime and other factors, so YMMV.

Incase you haven't already tried this, a non-PVP druid wont be able to port/sow/invis a PVP flagged toon. Your best bet to help him is buy him a sow pot and some cloudy potions and make the run with him, or get yourself flagged as PVP and reverse it when you get to Qeynos.

Why not just delete the char and remake? your so low lvl that you could take care of the pvp flag and could make a char closer to grouping areas.

Overall I see most low lvls in CB during my playtimes (EST Evenings/Night).

Nice to know. He got the tag fixed by the one and only Llandris however, so by the time I arrived to BBM when he was on, I had np porting him to WC. We got him bound to FP, buffed, and set him loose into the wilds of EC!

Good to see you got GM-fixed. For future issues, you'd likely be pretty darn close to level 6 starting from scratch than running all the way from BBM to Qeynos. That would be assuming you made it all that way on a level 6 character without dying.

Glad you got the flag fixed! Saw someone last night who was running around GFay and midway through the night he went from blue to a red tag and thought, "I wonder if he knows about the effort it'll take to get rid of that?"

Ya, I would have in most cases I would have just rerolled..BUT the toon's name was the same as it was in my original EQ days, so it had sentimental value, and I wasn't sure the name wouldn't be rejected upon trying to rename a new toon

grouping isn't soo great off peak times, in EC anyways. Had a couple groups so far, but had to wait around quite awhile to get something going for the most part. Drive by buffs are killer, but still hard to solo a cleric none-the-less.
