Shiny Robe of the Underfoot Quest (http://wiki.project1999.com/Shiny_Robe_of_the_Underfoot_Quest)

I have a Brell-worshipping Rogue on red that's gifted Kejar (http://wiki.project1999.com/Kejar_the_Mighty) two robes (http://wiki.project1999.com/Shining_Metallic_Robes) now and he ate both without any dialogue, reward item, nothing.

Have been following this Youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCHxx1rw2z4), including standing behind the quest NPC while sneaking for indifferent faction to do the turn-in.

Is the quest functioning? Is there some other trick I'm missing for it to work? And the ultimate stupid question: any prayer of getting my robes back?

Sorry, forgot to add: If it's broken, I don't think the issue is likely to involve the NPC's inventory because he was despawned (killed?) between the two failed turn-ins.

Still broken, just ate a third robe.

Quest isnt broken, have done a turn in yesterday just fine. You must be doing something wrong ? But reading your description it doesnt sounds like it. You should perhaps petition it. Kejar always says : oooh shiny, and either gives robe or chunk.

Also, Kejar despawns every 20min or so

Always hail a quest NPC for a response before doing a hand in

Many thanks to this kind poster for pointing out a step I was apparently missing (not shown or mentioned in the P99 YouTube video or anywhere else that I'd read): manually un-hiding before turning in the robe, instead of just letting the trading action break hide.

Fourth turn-in finally activated the quest...... for a hunk of metal, of course. RIP robes :o
