View Full Version : Does P99 have a Movie trailer?

Got a friend, who has never played any type of MMO. He does not have a lot of money to be investing in P2P games so thought maybe if I could introduce him to P99 and classic EverQuest maybe he might bite. Looking for a trailer for the server or the classic game that really shows people what EQ is.

You can try searching YouTube, there's quite a few videos on there. I haven't watched them so I can't attest to their quality.

I did, I really did not find anything that was a quality video for Classic EverQuest. Might be there is some not having the EverQuest name in the title or something.

Funny how this looks nothing like Everquest ever did or has. I do vaguely remember that. They must have based that on concept art or something. Sorcerors? Really? Where are they now.

Not sure that is that best representation of Everquest or P99. Did not look anything like Everquest.

there is plenty of Trailers for EQ on Youtube but not for classic EQ.

Not sure who compiled this video (Edit: Zyrex I assume) but it starts out pretty good. About half way through though you start seeing a bunch of Luclin models. That should probably be taken out of the final cut.

Also when it shows the original equipment... it's nearly impossible to make out any of it.. so maybe that should be edited as well.

Oh and also, shots with the new skele models should be replaced with shots of the old skele models.

All in all pretty awesome though.

well, my friend has never played ANY type of MMO and has no clue what EQ is. Woulda been nice to have some visual aides to assist him. My first MMO was EQ, when I first started I had no clue I was soing so everyone needs to start somewhere right?


Someone should makes us a trailer that has uber editing skills to make it look all fancy and shit
