I’ve noticed this a couple times since I built my new pc last March. Simply restarting it would usually fix the issue but it seems more persistent now. It has happened in KC and now L Guk.
When operating well I usually have like 285 to 315 FPS. When my issue is happening I bounce from 200ish down to about 70. If I drop in game frame down to 70 or whatever it’s bottoming out at it still keeps pulsing lower than the max setting. I opened up the win 10 CPU monitoring tool and noticed the higher frame rate coincided with a spike in the cpu usage. I’ll post a SS of that when I get back home.
I looked into background programs impacting performance and when I shut down Steam, GoG, Nvidia thing, asus EZ updater my overall frames tanked to like 60 but were stable as well as the cpu usage. In the past though I’ve let these all run at startup without impact.
Any thoughts on this or what other info should I provide to help diagnose?
