I am killing a deepwater goblin in Lake Rathetear and despite rooting them underwater they are hitting me from a mile away even though their model is nowhere near me. This has happened on all of the 3 spawn deepwater goblins that appear in the tower for Lord Begurgle and Tainted aquagoblin.

edit: Upon further examination, this only occurs when there is line of sight between the mob and the player. I had the goblin rooted outside the tower and it could hit me anywhere within the cave, but when I hit out of LoS I stopped being hit.

I am wondering if this is the case for all underwater mobs, or if it is specific to these.

Most of these goblins are archers so they may be shooting arrows at you.

All of them? Deepwater goblins are clerics, there are the netmasters that are necro or SK and regular aqua goblins / tainted goblins. Every type of mob in the underwater cave in Lake Rathe is doing this.

I haven't killed all of the varieties down there but if they're all doing it, then yeah they're all archers. NPCs don't have the same restrictions regarding abilities and class as we do.
