Word is DBG put down the law and all that remains is a dwindling server that can't be wiped or recycled. Even Discord got hit by DBG sanctions...Red99, a memory.

Because a wipe would bring the pop back to Red99, but DBG won't allow a new server. They got that level 1 choke on Rogean Technologies, LLC.

DBG also said red isn't allowed to be character transferred. For what reason, I don't know. But that was included in the verbal agreement, not sure if it was in the actual written contract or not. But DBG said they 100% wanted a freeze on red, no servers and no transfers, and no server closure. 100% freeze.

probably has something to do with them believing that salty guy is representative of all of red. salty was also cited as a reason why DBG aggro'd in the first place after he attacked their project and forum.

No fuckin clue really. The /who systems are disabled because people use them to hunt with. I'm on alliance side on sargeras the x3 exp item loot on pvp server. I see 5-6 guilds I would consider to be in the larger category runnin through stormwind all the time. My guild has about 30 people on peak maybe more. Then there are a bunch of other smaller guilds that seem to pop up at random.

I would estimate a few hundred alliance players on every day, more horde probably.

It's no nostalrius but it's a nice change of pace.
