So, i'm oldschool....like, REALLY oldschool
I was playing back in late 98 during phase 3 and 4 beta, I played for years on the Rathe server until around 2005, when i kinda phased out.
My times will be Central US (from close Houston) and my old toons were mostly Shaman, Monk, and a Ranger. Not sure what to make with this server, anyone have any suggestions?
I'm NOT looking for handouts, but i would love to group up and get muh grind on for an hour or 2 a day.

Hey man, played back then too on Rathe. Monk & Wizard. Also try to get on for an hour or 2 here and there. I just started a few weeks ago.
I'd suggest making whatever character you'd like. I made a monk and liking it so far for the nostalgia trip. If you make a char, look me up in game and we can do some grouping. I'm only at level 19 (Gjin in game).

Welcome! I also used to play on the Rathe, a gnome cleric, but here I went to the slightly darker side.

If you're really old school and like the taste of it, why not join <Auld Lang Syne> ?

Probably one of the best things about P99 is there is always people leveling characters making the world feel populated and giving the opportunity to group in just about any zone you can find or get people.
Good luck on you journey!

finding out this server is great, and thanks for the replys. i'll be looking some of you guys up when i get a chance.
BTW my shammy was Wulfguar, Monk was Gyix, and ranger was Mileea if any of you old rathers recognize the names. I think my biggest heyday was during the rise of Circles End, and the fall of Noble Blade. did a stint in Frayed Knot as well, but that was after they fell off as a major raider
