I had taken a break from P99 for several months but logged back in and began playing again about two weeks ago and have been hit with all sorts of technical problems (I do have the version 45 patch installed so that should not be the issue.) I have noticed that many times I will have delayed spell casting where I will cast a spell and nothing will happen for several minutes while my spell gems are grayed out during those few minutes. Then within fifteen minutes I will get disconnected. I am also having issues of my hotkeys eventually not responding and I will have to exit and relog into the game to get them to rework...for awhile. I kept hoping this would get better but instead it has been increasing and has already resulted in the death and corpse run of my main toon. Because of the time involved in leveling this is making the game unplayable for me (which is really, really disappointing.) I understand this might be an issue on my end and would appreciate any suggestions for resolving this...but am also curious if this is happening to anyone else...
Also, my toon was trapped in West Karana last week and so I was not able to play her for two days until that zone went back up. I could have petioned to free her from that zone while it was down but instead chose to play another toon and wait for a resolution of the issue since I read on the ingame chat that this was an issue other people were dealing with (i.e. I saw it was a game issue and not an issue on my end.) After West Karana went back up I started playing her again and tried to tradeskill in Qeynos but again, my buttons stopped responding and I had to log out and back in repeatedly.
Are other people having issues with their spells, hot keys, and disconnects or is it just me ? Is it something I could try to repair or is it something the devs are working on ? I really do appreciate the devs for the time and energy they put into keeping this game running...but right now...for me...I just am having a ton of bad luck in playing it.
