<The Second Sons> Friendship and Pride.

The Second Sons is a casual XP/Raid guild. Friendship is what brings us together and pride is what pushes us as a guild. We do random rolls on all usable raid loot. If you show up and you contribute you got a fair shot as everyone else at the loot that drops. We encourage new and young players to join and take advantage of XP crawling and our Gear Pass Down policy. We often have groups in all level ranges working hard to help each other improve. Many of us have been on the server for years and come from many different guilds and backgrounds. One thing we all share is the pleasure of contributing to guildee's to watch our guild progress together.

We are currently raiding on Mondays ,Thursday, and Saturdays nights starting around 7 PM CST. We try to do XP/Gear/Epic groups on days between raids. As a guild we are doing a lot of raids for the first time together and are looking to increase our numbers and our ability to raid more targets. With our wonderful improvement in all areas of the last few weeks we are looking to fill a few more spots. I am actively searching for all classes/levels/play styles. In the last few weeks we have successfully completed Several monk Epics some and some Cleric Epics. We 3 grouped the Castle Entrance to Velks. We destroyed some Chardok AOE. Killed the royals in Chardok. Farmed ice burrowers for all of our monks Chest armror! Killed the Noble in Plane of Sky. And much more! Busy week!

You never know who I am in game :) But try and contact Bigginns, Krythen or Ezrick for me. Khall is the guild leader. Really though just send a tell to someone and ask for an officer, someone will get with you.

We are not kidding when we say we have a casual raiding guild. You are welcome to play your style (as long as that isn't obnoxious) at your pace. There are no time requirements, you will never be asked to camp a certain mob for X hours a week (no fun there).

We DO tend to succeed at most everything we attempt. Not always the first time, but that's half the fun :p

I just reloaded P1999 and looking to get grinding done to 60 so I can keep busy until Pantheon gets released!

I played since release of Kunark in 1999 and raided on Tribunal then later Prexus/Rathe until 2012 (with a year off here and there).

As a returning player, im currently soloing in LOIO and going to quickly rise up as fast as I can. I play in PST timezone and usually late nights and some afternoons.

I just wanted to take a few moments and give out some words of encouragement and gratitude to the overwhelming amount of people who have stay dedicated and true to this guild, this family. We are what i consider to be at our strongest point and i am continuously being blown away by the progress we have been making. Even though we have come so far, i feel as if we are just starting. I know i have a head full of steam and my focus set on moving us forward. 3 years ago i never dreamed that i would be here in this position leading and teaching so many people. It has not by any means been an easy task and lord knows ive had times where i just wanted to walk away. TSS is a cesspool of people without any character. I was in Highkeep leveling and they played a little game of taking multiple camps, and when I claimed one, they traded me the camp for another. I said that's fine, went to the other camp where they had another member say sorry, this is my camp so now you can't have either camp.

When I told them I was going to take my original camp back, they refused and decided they would keep both camps. When I went to go log off, their enchanter dispelled the pet I had charmed so that my pet would kill me while I had a few seconds left to log out just to add insult to injury.

I messaged 4 people in their guild to talk to an officer and got no where. Their members tried to use /anon to hide their tags in HK but I got a /guildstatus on them anyway.

P99 is a fun server with a great community. If you're looking for a group of good people to enjoy the journey with, I highly recommend staying far away from The Second Sons.

We cannot control the actions of every individual person as is reasonably expected. However if the actions are severe the indivial would be removed from the guild.

Sadly guild removal would not slove your issue... the best suggestion is to petition accordingly if you honestly feel the play nive policy was violated.

P99 is a fun server with a great community. If you're looking for a group of good people to enjoy the journey with, I highly recommend staying far away from The Second Sons.

First and foremost, I would suggest that you read the pinned post on the top of the guild forum. https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=276484 in case you are having a hard time finding it. Not only is this an inappropriate way to handle any situation, its also against the forum rules.

Secondly, associating an entire guild by the actions of a single individual, on this servers most notorious disputed camp, is incredibly ridiculous.

Lastly I apologize that you had a camp dispute with one of our members. We have a system in place for dealing with things like this and I understand that you could not immediately get in contact with someone to handle it. If you feel whatever grievance against you needs to be handled beyond what a simple "play nice" would cover I would suggest that you use the in game or forum petition.

1) I was anon before you arrived, it wasn't because of you or for you. 2) I didn't see you, and at that time no one was killing bards. So yes, I went over there and killed them since no one else was. That's when Vira showed up. I turn around start charming a noble when you have your dealer running in to attack him. A single noble has spawned, indicating someone was killing them.

All you had to do was ask man, that was it. But you straight up saw what you thought was an opportunity to lawyer someone on EQ and take a highly contested camp. And when I first "wtf dude" you said "it's two camps". Dude you knew what you were doing. And now you try and play victim? That's what my bad day is. Common decency bro, that's it. Everytime I go there and I see people, I'll ask "whats camped, how long?" and throw a C. Why? Cause it's a polite thing to do.

I met Raistmaj and Ebowla today in Permafrost while camping the Jail Master for nets. They both seemed pretty cool and very polite. I am interested in applying.

I don't think I could make all three raid nights in one week as I run my own business and work often, but I am up for doing what I can and helping out as I can. I enjoy exp grouping and hanging out with cool folks, and I have been playing on here off and on for quite a while.

We also killed Gozzrem on our first try/pull! Got LTK to 60% or so after waiting for it to spawn 15 hours into its window we didnt really have time to try again but was awesome job for our first try. We died terribly to Klandicar and power leveled Trakanon for a while!

A golem with Strings and SK epic. Along with a few other attmepts/kills on other targets.

TSS will be looking to get back into full force after the Holidays and trying to progress enough to get our revenge on LTK !

Believe it or not, <The Second Sons> attempted to kill the eldest First Brood Dragon, Lendiniara!

It was no task to be taken lightly, with our plan in place and hearts full of confidence we managed to clear the lair of the beast and get the dragon to about 85% on our first attempt. We limped away from that first round injured but not defeated. Several weeks of hard work and planning driven by a desire to get revenge and <The Second Sons> were ready try again!

This time our hearts were full of fear. We knew now what task lay before us. With a better plan and improved raid force achieved by the hard work of many individuals and fueled by friendship maybe just maybe we stood a chance.


The fearless Abzan arises, Face to Face with the Dragon.

With time running short and the dooming feeling that if we dont defeat this Dragon here and now that we may never. We engage! Abzan, with the heals of 8 of the finest clerics <The Second Sons> had to offer, stands proudly as he survives the entire duration of his defensive discipline. Everything seems to be working flawlessly as the dragon approaches a mere 25 % HP left. With a scream and a hiss Abzan Falls, dead on the floor! LTK laughs and begins to gobble up raiders.

A long time dedicated ranger, Firy, leaps forward and hurls insults and fire at the Dragon and draws his attention. The tiny but brave warrior Bigginns gets the dragons spite and all clerics and all healers empty there mana bars to ensure that he does not fall! 21% left to go and a fourth of <The Second Sons> have fallen in battle.

They do not give up! With screams and blind rage the Dragon is Slain!
