Mnk : Does Tiger Claw needs H2H ?

I was wondering...
Since Tiger Claw is a hand skill (and Round Kick a foot one), can it be only useful/efficient using h2h only ?
I mean, what if I use a 2hb with it ?

You can use it while holding a weapon. It's an independent skill.
