I just baked a Fruit Pie, and the pie tin was not returned to me! Even Brutillus said he wouldn't eat a pie with tin in it, and he's an OGRE!

I remember quite clearly that even in classic EQ, the pie tin was returned with each combine.

Someone get some additional info. Neither EQTraders or Alla say anything about returning Pie Tins. It makes sense, just need some sort of proof guys.

The "also returns" and "on failure returns" bit is also there for Bat Wing Pie, Beetle Eye Pie, Halas 10lb Meat Pie, Meat Filled Pie, etc. It must be an oversight that the Fruit Pie doesn't note that. Muffins also return the Muffin Tin, cakes return the Cake Round, each of the cookies that require the cookie cutters return the cookie cutters, etc.


Also on EQTraders, in the pottery section, they note specifically that there are only two exceptions to tools being returned to the baker, "Many baking recipes require special implements, such as pots, skewers, pie tins, etc. With two exceptions (Thurgadin shawl quest baking, and the heavy pie crock for slumberfish pie), bakers should need only one of these items, as they are returned during the baking process.
