I have been looking for somebody to do an IP exemption. My fiancee and I would like to lvl characters together but we are running to the obvious problem as being on the same internet. How do I go about getting this taken care of.
Thanks,

Probably should expand on that. Post the following information for each account in a new post in the petition forum:
Real first name - Relationship - Account Name
I'm not sure the current wait times for IP Exemptions, but it can be a wait

Thanks for the help, I've put a request in the right forum now. Any estimate on the turn around time?
They tend to do them in batches, so it can be up to a few weeks depending on when they were last processed. In the meantime you can tether to a hotspot if you don't want to wait. Just make sure there're two human beings present at all times (don't box) =p

I have also applied for an IP Exemption so that my wife and I can play at the same time. It seems like it might take awhile for it to be answered. We just started and we are taking turns playing a little to keep levels even.
Would it be inappropriate for one of us to play through a VPN, or is that against the rules?
We would only play with 2 comps and 2 people present.
Thanks! Teranu1

The VPN would cause lag but it might be a way around it but would be disliked :( by the staff unless they already have (origin)IP/MAC in an ARP table somewhere.
