Returning player - cannot log in

So, it's been a couple of years since I played (other than a quick login maybe six months back). I am having a problem logging in to the actual game server. I cannot for the life of me remember dealing with two separate accounts on P99 before, and my forum account tells me I have no Loginserver account at all. Confusing, as I distinctly remember playing P99 on a rogue up to 57 or so, and having a smattering of other toons. At this point I'm sort of just lost and don't know what to do. Is the Loginserver system relatively new? Am I just an idiot and can't remember? Any help would be appreciated. I remember most of my character names, if that helps anyone from the P99 staff verify my account's existence.

Clearly, the confusion for me here is that the P99 forum is telling me that i have no Loginserver account, so either I'm logged into the wrong forum account (unlikely, as nothing else exists in my emails), or I am missing something.

Did you setup your login server account over at EQ EMU?

I'm confused, from the little I've read and understood of the changes to the account system, I thought you didn't need EQEmu accounts.

You don't but you are from 2012 when EMU was a thing used still.

Someone else will have to weight in on the he exact time as to when things switched over as I didn't start til 2014 when p99 had their own system.

I'm about 90% sure I didn't use an EQEmu account until I was messing around on some of the other servers. I never used the EQEmu login system for P99.

Tupakk was a great help. Got in, and seem to be all set. Still strange that my p99 forum account has no loginserver accounts listed. But uh.... I'm playing!
