"A connection to the server could not be reached"

Have been playing problem free for months and all of a sudden today every time I try to log on I get this:

My internet is totally fine. I've restarted my computer and router several times. The only thing that has changed is that I patched League of Legends.

any time this has happened to me I pop open command prompt

ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

And it goes away.

Do you have comcast? Try connecting to a hotspot and see if you can connect normally

I've been playing fine until a couple of months ago.

"A connection to the server could not be reached." during login.

However I can log in if i use a VPN. very strange....

Any thoughts?

Happening to me too I haven't seen this error before tried 3 times to login and nothing.


Edit - okay was able to get to server select but don't see Project 1999 listed anywhere.

I still keep getting this message. Tried the CMD prompt and ipconfig as stated by Darkatar, and still get the same message.
