If true...about time those pets were nerfed.

Classic mage pets have difficulty holding aggro, except for the Earth pet which could root.

Hopefully this will bring the era of the OP mage to an end.

its laughable thou .. my pet did 71% damage ALONE, then i cast 1 nuke and my pet doesnt get the thing off me anymore until its dead :p

Same thing with my necromancer's level 4 pet. Held agro just fine yesterday, today even missing a melee attack will draw agro until my pet has done ~80% of his health in damage, with no further actions taken by me...

Definitely does not seem to be an intended measure. EQLive, in any form, was ever that unforgiving with pet agro.

Nuked mob at 20% after pet had done 80% damage...locked on me until it was dead.

We really can't nuke at all now while soloing. This change is a far cry from how the classic mechanics worked.

Edit: It was all pet aggro that was nerfed. Enchanter I was talking to was saying he has to now keep mobs rooted otherwise Tash/Slow locks it into him for the entire fight.

Edit2: Sent in pet, cast level 1 nuke (Burst of Flame) while mob was at 95%, sat down, pulled aggro.

Fix this please.
