Rocking a Skyfury Scimitar off hand. Wondering which main hand I should go with, Winter's Fury or Fellspine's Tail. Pros and cons ... go.

winter's fury is a garbage item with no redeeming qualities.
I don't see why anyone would use it unless it was their only choice.

What do you suggest for a low 50s Ranger with about 10k to spend (don't say epic I'm working on it slowly).
Woodsman's Staff is pretty good, I hear

Sticking with Dual Wield.

If your looking for just a 1h combo maybe keep the Skyfury Scimitar or Winters Fury in your offhand. Try to find something like https://wiki.project1999.com/Crafted_Velium_Warsword to put in your mainhand or use felspines if you aren't tanking. I use the Warsword and Swiftwind on my ranger and it is a great combo.

Is the fellspines a good alternative to the warsword? Don't plan on tanking much lol.

I think the warsword will outperform the fellspine by a bit but not sure on the numbers. The proc might be good for aggro management but overall I think with jolt you would be better off with something like the warsword. If you have the plat for the warsword (and you are able to find one for sale as they are pretty rare) I would try to pick one of those up. Otherwise, if you already have the fellspine and don't want to worry about replacing it, I would save for your earthcaller MQ (or Swiftwind if you plan on buying the VS stone).

I vote Lupine dagger or Fayguard Parrying Dagger. The aoe is so small on fayguard you wont have any issues.

IF you have skyshrine graphic arms and chest, with hero bracers and a wurm slayer you look like aquaman... For human rangers at least.

i know you're going dual wield, but have you considered the slight optimization of being able to cast a DD or other spell in between the lugubrious swings of your 2 hander?
Good luck.

Under 20. Silver swift blade 2hs from Chardok.
21-50 woodsmans or wurmy and velium swift blade.
51-60 swiftwind and hate whip, HS dagger, seb dagger, anything fast in main hand. Price can and will get you dead.
At 60 it's 11.4 bonus dmg to main hand so fast is better.

You can use this formula to figure out the best weapon combinations.
((DMG*2)+DMG BONUS)/DELAY
Main hand DMG Bonus = 17 2Hand / 11 = 1Hand
Primary DPS + (Secondary DPS * 0.60) = TOTAL DPS
The .60 represents rangers change to dual wield at level 60 (60%) and those main hand damage bonuses assume you are level 60. If you aren't level 60 your dps numbers will be slightly worse.
Main hand DMG Bonus = 17 2Hand / 11 = 1Hand
I don't think that's right. Isn't the dmg bonus supposed to be a function of the weapon's delay?

yeah, it liek this:
1-27delay: bonus = (Level-25)/3
28-39delay: bonus = (Level-25)2
40-42delay: bonus = (Level-25)/2+1
43-44delay: bonus = (level-25)/2+3
45+delay: bonus = (level-25)/2+(delay-31)/3

Wurmslayer
Until the mid 40s wurmslayer is hands down one of the best dps weapons for those that can use it. Mid 40s to mid 50s faster weapons start to close the gap. It takes level 60 for 9/19 lammy to catch up with wurmslayer and ~57 for 9/18 jade mace to catch up.

What's a solid mainhand choice when not using EarthCaller?

Swiftblade of Zek / Swiftwind is basically what you want.
