View Full Version : Game Mechanics: Aura of Battle regen does not stack with itself

Equipping multiple Aura of Battle items increases attack power, but it does not increase regen. Only one worn Aura of Battle regen works at a time. Clicky Aura of Battle buff, such as Fearsome Shield, does seem to stack with one worn version. Aura of Battle's regen component should stack with itself and other regens such as a Fungi.

Thats weird because its Regen + 2 and + atk the translation of the effect, its not like a worn buff regen, its like FTs should stack.

Here's my lame attempt at finding evidence:
https://thesafehouse.org/forums/forum/everquest-wing/training-studios/6907-aura-of-battle-does-it-stack-with-itself (from 2004, so not classic, but it confirms that AoB stacked by then)
https://www.takproject.net/forums/index.php?threads/aura-of-battle-stack.10339/ (Same, not classic, but confirmed for Al'Kabor)
http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/spell.html?spell=1499 (2002, so just past classic, but it doesn't seem super likely that AoB stacking changed in that year ...)
Will Aura of Battle stack with itself?
The worn version of it will stack but if you have to cast it, only one casted version will stick.
I believe it's like Flowing Thought... it stacks with itself in a similar manner. If you've got a few of them it's a nice boost to ATK I guess...

This appears fixed.
Seconded. Here are the regen numbers I'm getting as a dwarf:
4 innate standing, 7 innate sitting
6 standing, 9 sitting with AoB#1
8 standing, 11 sitting with AoB#2
10 standing, 13 sitting with AoB#3
19 standing, 22 sitting with Fungi
29 standing, 32 sitting with Ring 10
