34 Druid - Getting Ring of Great Divide Spell

Hello. I just dinged 34. But I'm having a hard time understanding how to get this spell. The wiki says this Vendor sells it:

Phillip Aghllsews
Race: Yak Man
Class: Shopkeeper
Level: 50
Spawn
Zone: The Wakening Land

I asked a senior Druid and he told me to go to Great Divide and get a tooth which I did. He said that Vendor might kill me. Not sure what the tooth does but please tell me how to get this spell.

That spell isn't in the game yet: if you look at the spell's wiki page you'll see "Note: Not currently in game (Timeline: Nov. 2001).". You just have to use the Circle of Great Divide for now.

As for the tooth, it's completely separate from the spell. Every player, whether or not they're a porter, needs a tooth to be able to port/get ported to the Velious dragon circles (ie. every Velious port except Iceclad) The teeth are cumulative, so if you get the one from Wakening Lands you can throw out the one from Great Divide, because the WL one will let you port to the GD circle. To get them you just have to visit the appropriate dragon circle: they're lying on the ground in the middle of the circle.

The point of the whole system is to make you have to visit each circle on foot at least once before you can teleport to it. This prevents players from getting ported to content they couldn't access otherwise. For instance, a player who has a Skyshrine key can't teleport a player who doesn't to Cobalt Scar, because the second player needs a CS tooth and can't get one without visiting CS (which requires the Skyshrine key).

The WL vendor will not kill you. Have someone with SS key click you through to CS and get the tooth there, you won't have to deal with the others as it works for all of them.

Maybe whoever told OP that was thinking about Wuoshi? He will kill you if you try and get the WL tooth without enough dragon faction. But yeah the druid spell vendor guy is safe.

Maybe, but OP would be coming from Kael, no where near Woushi.

Well its a wasted trip if you're not going to the WL port in for the tooth, where Wuoshi is if up ^^

Ask a Dial a Port druid if they know whether Wuoshi is up or not before making the journey for the WL tooth.

My whole point was if you go straight to CS you will never need the WL tooth.

IC > EW> KAEL > WL (get spells) > SS (get someone with key to click you into CS) > CS (get tooth) > DONE

If you see Woushi while doing this you're doing it wrong.

I know I said "Ring of Divide" spell on OP but I meant "Circle of Great Divide" spell. Sorry.

So to get this spell, first of all can I buy it from a player like in EC? If not, let me see if I got this right. I have to get a tooth from WL druid portal and then go to the Philip vendor and buy the spell, but I cant go to him unless someone with a Skyshrine key "clicks me in" to him?

This is wrong. You dont need a CS tooth or an SS key to be keyed out of SS. How do you think the first groups got to TOV when velious launched? you think everyone did the quest from SS to kael since you couldnt kill the SS drake? Not to mention my lvl 5 chanter didnt have a SS key when i got my CS tooth
