I never got into swarm kiting even though I'm a Bard as my main (level 30) for a year now (Yes, I level slow).

How does the new agro mechanics effect swarming? Is it harder to gather up 25 mobs? Also do people still gather insane amounts of mobs (50+) and burn them down or do they just take 25 and go from there?

Lol. I haven't even tried swarming yet. I haven't had the time to play much and I can't keep up with the twisting, so I've been playing an Iksar SK instead.

And no, I don't plan on selling it. Just borrow it until you need it back. I figured it couldn't hurt to float the idea and see if I got lucky with someone willing to help a mid 30's dude with kids.

40k is reasonable for how broken they are. Very little matters in this game but innate regen is HUGE

It would be easier for me to level to 60, make 5 friends, and camp this thing every night for 5 months than it would be for me to gather 40,000pp.

I realize its OP broken, but I'd be willing to bet there are more Fungi Tunics on the server than accounts at this point...

What if you were to instead put that time into rolling a necromancer and leveling to 51 to kill seafuries for 40-60 hours to buy it instead of sitting in dungeon every night for 5 months?

And then realize you actually like necromancer a whole lot and the fungi you bought for your now alt is meaningless to you, and you can now quit the game! Not that I'd know anything about that. :)

actually, plat doesn't float. it's completely digital and weightless except in the game, where it is heavy and causes your character to sink in most liquids.

I can make 500-800pp in about an hour killing hill giants if I can get 2 spawns to myself, but the competition for them is HUGE. But thats currently the best money I can make.

Given that competition, and the fact I can't really sit there and camp but for a few hours at any given time....I might make 1k a day, top end.

So that would be roughly 40 straight days of Hill Giants to buy a Fungi.

I'm level 45, most I've ever had at one time is about 1500pp. But I do spend a fair amount on things, gear for alts, tradeskills (smithing 176, brewing 135, tailoring like 60). Maybe one day, but its a long time away, so I just try to ignore its existence.

If I can't get it myself, or buy it for a reasonable price (reasonable to ME), then I simply don't care and don't need the item to enjoy the game.

Bro stop being bad at EQ. Leveling from 55 to 58 in sebilis, I've made atleast 40k from item drops and gem drops and thats WITH me losing a ton of rolls on things like Hiero cloak, Jaundiced bone bracer, spells worth 10k+.

Never been to Sebilis in my life. I don't even like going to City of Mist because it takes 3 hours to get there.

pretty easily able to pug it, or take a group of friends down. its a high priority camp, but not perma-camped

I don't see the issue. I have two fungi tunics on loan to people right now. Sure they're in my guild but I don't know them at all really (time zones). It's only a game, have faith in humanity.

Doubt someone will loan you their fungi. What's worse is if someone did loan you it and then asked for it back a week later. You'll have fungi withdrawals.

Since you claim to have an iksar sk, here's a tip for making money, at 30+ you can go to highkeep and kill guards, they have low hp and are all warriors and drop 5p swords, whats even better is in highkeep an erudite merchant will sell to you! And you have fake death so you can bank in zone and move past the harder npcs a lot easier. This is usually an iksar monk spot but is do-able by sk. When I hit level 50 all I had was an imbued fighters staff, I wanted addy club and sos as well without selling my 2hander. In literally 7 hours I made 6k by hogging all the guards. Think their repop is at 18 or 22min, 2 guards spawn every 3min. Theres roughly 28-32 guards add in the guards that spawn every 3min thats about 40-42 guards per spawn cycle, thats 120 guards in an hour roughly, 5 x 120 is 600plat plus money the guards drop (they drop 10 gold or 1 plat pretty much so that a 700 plat plus their words/runes/gem drops which can bump it up to 800plat an hour.)

This is all if you get every guard spawn though, you have to be pretty engaged since people regularly kill guards or will ask you for a floor to kill, theyre all ffa spawns though except for the two 3min spawns though.

came back this time saying I wouldn't roll a monk but after a shm, druid, nec, I went monk and hes already the highest char in the line up again already.
so if anyone wants to let me use a fungi while im playing this stint id gladly give it back when I find something else to play.
