pet breaks would be inconsequential since they would be at 100% hp and snared by the druid

100 pt DS is still going to account for a shitload of DPS on a mob that can hit up to ~8 times in one round

you don't have to CH every single attack round if the mob is sufficiently debuffed and you have a druid/shaman patch healing

Exactly what happened. CHing a pet wasn't that hard and when you play with people that don't have down syndrome and can pick a mob up during a charm break you can kill it.
