so my dad use to let me play this when i was young and i really want to play it again. but i don't think i can really trust this site and i don't know if it is even active.

i would like to understand how i can do this and if this needs cd's.

i have

everquest
everquest the ruins of kunark
everquest the scars of velious
everquest shadow of luclin (2 discs)
everquest the planes of power

if needed i can download but other then that im lost and have a phobia of downloading from sites like this.

also when i am in game if i even can get in game i wont type much so you dont have to deal with a person like me that much

You don't download it from here, and if you are that paranoid why even trust connecting to the server lol.

Also you should be able to tell it's active if you saw how recent forum posts are in various forums...

you need Everquest Titanium. as legit as you decide it to be, your call :p
some people have the real CD, some people have a pirate copy.
we're not the police, respecting the law is your responsability, not ours.
i'm sure you know where you can find either!

p99 has a population of 700 to 1400 people online at all times. it is extremely active and you will find people in basically every zone at any time of the day.

It can be tough to find everquest titanium, because in 2017 we aren't a bay civilization ravaged by pirates with a titanium cd sitting among their collected loot. If there were such a bay in the modern era where the pirates congregated, you'd probably find ale, eyepatches, and perhaps Everquest Titanium. Even luckier if someone done made up one pre configured for project 1999 there. Alas, in the modern day, we have no such worries. We are safe.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I downloaded the client via torrent methods, then followed their instructions for setup and was playing that same night.

6 months later, I'm still playing with no problems at all, minus some patching to improve performance and restore original sounds and fix some textures.
