After logging into Red server I am returned to the login screen

I have reinstalled everquest, have not patched it
followed the installation instructions exactly

Does it boot you with no errors at all. That generally means you aren't making connection with the server.

Things to do.

Turn off AV and recoup n paste the p44 info.

Try again.

Tnhat doesn't work then you know it's a connection issue and you should look to ur router and or ur isp blocking ports.
