Hide Helm

Everytime I zone or log out and back in my helm graphic comes back on. Is there a way
to permantly { hide helm } ? I see lots of other characters without head gear as they
zone in from another zone .

any help would be appreciated

Even if the hide your helmet option worked across zones, it would still be client-side only - it won't hide your helm for other players, unfortunately. Those people are either wearing a non-graphical headpiece such as Crown of King Tranix, Circlet of the Falinkan, etc., or no headpiece at all.

This feature is not actually enabled on P99. It was a part of the UI for the Titanium client, so it's in the UI, but it does not actually do anything. Even if you see the helm removed on your screen, everybody else still sees it, and as you have noticed, the setting is reverted when you zone.

Weird that this is still not an enabled feature. I played in the classic era and I remember hiding helm being a thing. This some Mandela effect thing on the server owners' part that they think it wasn't enabled back then? Or was it brought in by luclin or later?
Either way there's a ton of quality of life fixes that aren't "classic" that should definitely be enabled on the server, like this. Can only enhance the experience. :/

Players now have an option in the options window to determine whether or not they want other players to see them with their helm. "Show My Helm"
