Where are some decent places to farm velious gems? Wyverns are always camped, are there any other places that are decent?

Well, I aint looking to buy from players they asking ridiculous amounts now. Hence why I will just farm them myself. :D

He's asking because certain zones don't drop the higher tier gems (BP gems). For example, your much more likely to find flawless diamonds in Sirens Grotto. If you were specifically looking for BP gems, camping geonids or wyverns would be a bad move.

ahhhh. I see. Well. I mostly want the lower gems, the BP I don't need atm.

I find https://eq.magelo.com/ to be a fairly good source on what drops which items and how frequently.

Obviously, as their item collector wasn't a thing when people were farming Velious (and p99 doesn't always match up to live) you can't trust the information entirely, but it is a good starting point.

Could always do what I do sir. Just go to cs / wl and find who's kiting and see if they have any they can come off of. Usually they give much more reasonable prices than the ec tunnel rats.

Lil known hotspot for vel gems..the fae dragons in WL..low hp easy as shit to kill..pretty decent drop rate..

Just be aware killing those will lower your Tunarean Court (http://wiki.project1999.com/Tunarean_Court) faction.
