Potency?

Is the potency of the server, at it's current state, sufficient enough to capture the attention of a casual long term lurker/player? I've always played the underdog side of things (vae victus or some shit...the only guild I can remember) and was a casual in Fresh. I have something like 5 chars all 50+ incl a monk, shaman, paladin, and cleric.... all in raggy shit.
