So, I am in charge of doing roll calls for our alliance's raids. I have macros that do /who <insert name of guild> It works for 3 of the 4 guilds. When I do /who Eternal (for Eternal Sovereign) it returns nothing, even though they are in the zone. Anyone ever seen this before and have an idea of how to fix it? By the way, /who all works correctly, just not /who

I've already reported this and nobody batted an eye. You must now be specific and put it in single quotes full name with spaces. I've since made a macro for my /who stuff

Ex: /who 'eternal sovereign' should show all in zone.

Thanks! Is it just Eternal Sovereign that is afflicted with this?

Nope everyone Because of what I do I use a lot of /who to find ppl as it's my goto and I use short hand for most of it. But the last patch messed with any kind of short hand for in zone stuff and some all zone stuff.

I'd say it's been like this for a few months now.

I think it has something to do with common names.

This is correct. There is a bug with /who. It won't show results if the name is an NPC name.

For example, there was an old PVP player named Ghost. because "ghost" is an NPC model, he didn't show up on a /who all. There are many names like this in the system. I would not be surprised if "Eternal" was one of them.

I've always known about the NPC thing but it has affected all /who anything with out 'full name'

The only thing I can think of is someone has gone around and name character names of all the guilds or all the guilds have a toon with part of their guild tag in their name and the NPC rule has transferred over to PC now.

It's not the end of the world to make a macro but for the quick typers used to bang out multiple /who names faster than I can scroll through to find macros.
