Where can i download the latest update file for P99? So, I can get the dsetup.dll back in to my Everquest folder? I can't seem to find the link anywhere on this site and all the update.zip files are no longer on my computer. I'm guessing the latest update is v44, but I can not find the link to download it anywhere. Any help?

Okay, I found the latest P99files44.zip and got the dsetup.dll back in to my Everquest folder. Does anyone know a way to exclude that file from McAfee(put it in the trusted file section) so that it does not keep quarantining it without disabling McAfee when i want to play Everquest?:confused:

I've never worked with McAfee but I'd try their forums if you've got no luck with it here.

Or just run P99 and nothing else from that PC while playing it (no browser, no anything) if you're concerned about viruses. Do wiki searches etc from a separate laptop/tablet/phone/etc.

I just had to do this for my virus protection software which is ESET. I went to the help section on their website and poked around for help, but in a nutshell it was in "advanced settings" under the "antivirus" tab and called "exclusions". You need to exclude the path of dsetup.dll and you will be fine.

on mcafee;
- go to window with real time scanning on it.
- click on the cog (maybe menu depending on version you bought)
- click quarantine and RESTORE the dsetup.dll file, it will not longer be deleted as it will recognise you trust it.

I've restored the dsetup.dll from the quarantine section many times so far. It still will not trust it. Guess it's time for a new AV.

Hello i have the same problem with Mcafee. i posted a new thread but didnt see this one. Have you found anyway to restore the dll file and stop mcafee from quarantine it? I thought about turning of real time scanning but i dont really want to do that :/
