Appearance of Bracer of Benevolence

I recently obtained a Bracer of Benevolence on my male erudite shadow knight. The item appears as silver chain mail, Velious texture. However, according to http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=5738 the item should be black chain mail, Velious texture.

Does the item appear as silver chain mail, Velious texture, for others? Or, are some folks getting the black chain mail, Velious texture, appearance? In either case, it appears that the color is wrongly set at least for erudite males as silver rather than black.

From live, I remember it having no tinting or maybe very subtle tinting. Also, I think it's actually the Ringmail texture as opposed to Chain, as they are named here (https://wiki.project1999.com/Players:Fashion).
