Poison is looking for new members!

Thinking about joining a guild where a laid-back, camaraderie-driven atmosphere comes first? Look no further! We at Poison are actively seeking new members dedicated to enjoying the game and growing through the progression as a family. We currently employ 50+ active members and are working our way to creating a force that is able to consistently hit raid targets through the near future. Our founding core of players have all had steady experience with the golden days of EQ, especially in the raiding end. Our main focus is to establish a dedicated foundation of players that works very close within the guild, and we are stressing grouping with fellow guildies as well as gearing together and lending a hand.

We have an open recruitment policy, but we do stress a brief probationary period to discover the heart of the new recruit. Right now we are only looking to recruit MAIN characters level 30+, and we have no problem to allow the character's twink into the guild.

As always, we do not condone actions of any kind that lead to the reputation of the guild being tarnished, with killstealing, training, obnoxious or lewd chat behavior being some examples.

All in all we're just the new guild on the block that's trying to put together a group of players that all know each other and is willing to get to the high end of the game together, and as a well-driven team. If you think this might be the kind of thing for you, do not hesitate to send a tell to either Tasslehof or Larryhoova in game, or reply to the post with any questions/comments/concerns.

Poison is a great guild.

Thanks Gremel. Poison is a great guild with many individuals willing to lend a hand to help out others. Whether you are a casual gamer or a hard core raider, Poison has something for you. There is a good amount of level diversity in the members of the guild, allowing for some guild hunting groups within various levels.

I have been with them for about a month now and am very glad I was asked to join their ranks.

Hi! I'm Starie of Starie & Malahar's Super-Ultra-Mage-Cleric-Adventure-Team.

Yesterday evening Malahar and I were preparing to romp around SolB with our newly acquainted Chanter friend Frumple. As I finished buffing, Bigmeechum sent me a tell and asked if I'd like to join Poison in Plane of Hate! (Bigmeechum and I had grouped and spoken together before) I let him know I was currently with my friends, and he said that I could invite them as well.

Soon we were ported up into the scary-scary castle churchy Dark Elf plane. It was mine and Mal's first time there (dunno about Frumple) and we had a wonderful time!

Mal and I aren't in and have never been in a guild, nor participated in any guild functions ever before. It was a treat to be invited along with Poison and be able to participate!

And even though I'm not a member of Poison OR in a trial period to join (yet), they allowed me to roll on the Ethereal Mist armor, and Mal on the Apothic items!

My new boots are so purple and I loves them <3 <3

Sounds like a great group of guys, even after knowing I have plans to app to another guild later they wanted to get to know me and invite me up to the planes with them as well.

I always like a guild that wants to get to know other players in the game and just have plenty of friends and allies.

Also a Big prop to Bigmeechum as he has been very proactive and respectful when trying to get me to run stuff with them.

So I took a few months away from the game and the rest of the guild merged with "Taken". Starting to reform the guild now currently looking for active players who are looking to reach max level and eventually raid. However, Poison will remain a casual guild for those of us who wish EQ to be fun and not a 2nd job. With that said we do plan on moving through as much content at our own pace.
