To truly understand what guild is a "house of cards" and who the real "snake" is - take a look at this message title. This snip from Apex HQ is from March 26th, 2017. 4:01 AM. How has this week gone for you? Literally everything you said in this post has been proven false. Youve taken brutal losses, youve lost 5-10 people to Ragnarok already, and your pixel flow is cut off. Let's recap.
After the opening weekend where we only spent time getting people tagged and people running around for fun, Apex has been thoroughly decimated at every turn. Apex has killed no notable raid targets, they have killed no dragons. They are only allowed what Ragnarok decides to give them. If you count a 9 hour raid resulting in a couple pieces of HoT loot "winning", then by all means, Apex is a WINNING. Day after day Gonshow has laid out the win conditions and our guild has met them with no trouble. One of the week highlights was this Thursday, Apex had spent about 5-6 hours of their raid time running about Norrath fleeing from Gongshow's army. They finally realized they have no other recourse but to engage us. After almost a whole night of raiding they finally chose Icewell Keep. Even though they had superior numbers and positioning, Apex was forced to call -GUILD FORCE LOOT AND SCOOT- , yes that is a real thing that exists(lol). After such a humiliating defeat the Apex officers decides to tell everyone the only reason why they lost was because of having less factioned players. You would think having 5 hours to chose the zone to fight in, your leaders would be capable of chosing a sufficient or beneficial spot to fight in. Instead, they made an unforgivable mistake and then complained about it afterwards like a petulant child. It is quite clear to all who participate on red99 that Apex will never be able to win any sort of even fight versus Ragnarok. Even Sharknado knows this, hence the chest beating to project confidence.
As far as Gongshow goes, why are you so obsessed? What is so bad about being charismatic and likable? Should Gongshow apologize for having people like and respect him? Should you apologize for uploading Hero Squad Comedy content to YouTube ? Because honestly, that was your biggest contribution to Empire, providing unlimited jokes for the Empire core as we form Ragnarok and destroy your pile of dogshit you call a guild. Outside of this your main contribution to the guild was casting VOG and C2. I cant ever remember you leading a raid that wasnt a Ring8 or an Epic for an alt of yours. You were the least important or effective officer we ever had and you are still visibly showing the ripple affects to this day. Playing 20 hours a day does not equate to being a respected leader. You are not Gongshow, you are not Colgate, you are not Terp, you are certainly not Omai or Fistlin. Your legacy in Empire will be remembered right alonside losing to Azrael in Plane of Fear and Burt's officer reign.
I think anyone who spent time in Empire while you helped "lead" would say you thought too highly of yourself. It's hard to respect a guy who thinks people should look up to him for being an officer in Everquest Emulator. When Sharknado left Empire, no one left with him, despite his best efforts. You tried for weeks campaigning yourself as a Guild Leader superior to Gongshow, you tried your best to make a new guild and it never materialized. Where are all these leadership skills? Why did no one follow you? Why did 103 unique players follow Gongshow the first weekend he started his guild?
