So I started up a chanter on red about 3 days ago and managed to get a foothold on re-rolling a class I knew fairly well to be mained on red. I met up with an officer while in Gfay for sanctuary and was given an invite. Cool group of guys and gals so far. I went into crushbone to get some xp and met up with 'cousin' and 'daht'. We were doing really well and before we decided to leave to get some xp in unrest, we got ganked somehow while still medding from the fight.
Teela came in swinging her 2H and took me from 100pct health to about 60pct in a swing, came out of nowhere as I didn't have see invis up so not sure what blindsided me. I forgot to bank my hard earned 100pp and almost tried to run for it. Daht managed to snag a blind off on teela but it all came to a close when the blind was removed and she killed me. Daht followed shortly thereafter with his own YT.

I was pretty bummed that I lost my 100pp but it turns out that once Daht got his corpse back, she gave the 100pp back to him and then back to me. Now coming from Vallon Zek days, this never happened. I guess it was just the craze to get that yellow text on 2 people in crushbone to which she said in ooc - "Check please" quite witty but good fun
Had a laugh but that was it.. No griefing off the server of anything - if this is what people are afraid about regarding r99, don't let that yellow text bother you at all. If anything, when we went to unrest, I managed to get from lvl 14-19 in about 1 hour with a group of 5 people; AMAZING XP.
