UPDATED July 21, 2016 - version 1.25
New custom red UI, bug fixes, and installer.

These UIs have been stitched together from pieces of various UIs and then edited/recolored/modified to work on project 1999. I put a lot of time into these but I make no claim of ownership over the original works.

Also, thanks to Norova/Welgrim for providing a file mirror. He hosts a ton of p99 related things @ http://p99.yourfirefly.com/. Be sure to check out his page and toss him a donation!

What would be innovative in a ui would be an fps adjustable bar. Everyone on red would have it

Is there a way to allow room for the surname on the player name line?
Mine has bled over onto the second line and now covers the level and diety labels.

why does it have to be an executable?

I just want the player window :)

Because I received about 300 messages asking how to install when I released the first version as .zip archives. If you just want the old version (zip files) look here:

Old version .zips (http://p99.yourfirefly.com/)

Off the top of my head since I'm not at my PC...open the EQUI_playerwindow.xml with notepad++. Look for a line that reads "Playername123456" a few lines above you will see <CX> and <CY> numerical values. Make the CX value larger.

example: <CX>50</CX> changes to <CX>70</CX>

I'm having trouble using a couple elements from the UI without actually installing the whole thing.

I'd like the:
1.) Buff Window
2.) Spells with names
3.) the Player Status from http://p99.yourfirefly.com/

SO - I downloaded the leewongui.zip from that site and pulled out the following xml files:
1.) EQUI_Buffwindow
2.) EQUI_CastSpellWnd
3.) EQUI_PlayerWindow (not from the leewong.zip but from the file on firefly site.

And made a copy of "Defaults_old" folder from uifiles folder, and then replaced the xml files in there with the corresponding ones I downloaded - start the game, load the new ui skin folder, and nothing is different. What am I doing wrong?

If the game fails to load the UI you choose it will load the default UI instead. Try copying over one XML at a time then testing to see which file is causing the issue.

I assume it is the buffwindow. If that is the case, then make sure to copy of the spell gem tgas (spells01-07.tga AND spellicons.tga).

I just used your installer and went with the full ui, loving it!

Thanks again!

Hey there - hate to be bothersome but I've opened this file because I'm having the same issue, and there is nothing labeled Playername123456 or "name" of any sort actually.

Couldve swore I left a default name in there. I'm still not around my pc with the files on it so I cant check. One thing you could try is commenting out the line at the bottom of the file:

<Text>Player</Text> change to <!--<Text>Player</Text>-->

I might download the files later when I get a chance and take a look. Stuck in a freezing cold server room atm :(
