I've noticed that, since the last patch, mobs with pets do not wipe agro on a FD player once they have reset to their spawn. I've witnessed this particularly with spite golems and forsaken revenants in the plane of hate. Spamming multiple multiple FD sometimes will blur both the pet and the owner, but waiting for the mob to return to its spawn will never keep the mob from coming for you, unlike any other non pet class mob in the zone. I'm assuming this is server wide and not particular to hate.

mobs can potentially remember you for up to 10 minutes after resetting to spawn.
this is intentional

Haynar: Entities will be dropped from an NPC's hatelist after 10 minutes of adding no additional hate.
These are two separate topics. NPCs absolutely forget you when they return home, unless they have a pet. Regardless of what is supposed to happen, this is the current state on p99.
Noticed this behavior in Skyshrine. Pet's don't seem to have home points or it's set to the zone's safe point so they never reset and pass their hate list back to the owner when you stand from a FD.

misread your post and didn't notice you were speaking about pets.
