I recently upgraded to a 1440p monitor and it's awesome, but the EQ UI scales poorly to 1440p. You can make the chat font bigger, but the UI elements are still pretty small. Has anyone been able to make 1440p look good?

1440p looks great on a 32"

I'm guessing you're on a 27"?

Only thing you can do is build a custom UI with larger elements

Are you playing 1440p on a 32"?

Are there any UI utilities that let you change the size of various elements?

I'm pretty sure I use the QQUI you made and I really like it, just need to scale the hotbuttons etc to be a little bit bigger for 1440p.

I run EQ @ 2560x1440 and I love it. I think my UI looks pretty good. I use the same (https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=232071)UI.

This (https://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16824014451) is the monitor I use

Yep, I'm using a 2560x1440 32" monitor. There is no way of scaling UI elements without actually making them larger then adjusting for it throughout the xml.

I personally have no issues at this size/res.. unless you were mistaken and you have a 2160p panel?

Nah, it's 1440p. I am just used to playing EQ at 1080p where all the elements of your UI are a certain size.

When you switch to 1440p, all the elements of the UI stay the same size as before but you're now playing with twice the real estate, so it looks tiny.

Yeah, if you stay at the same screen size. I image a 24 or 27 inch at that resolution would be tough.

Anyway, making a 4k version of qqui has been on my list for a while.. maybe when I finally get around to it I'll do a 1.5x size mod too ;)

Otherwise ain't much ya can do other than crawl eqinterface for compatible UI elements that are larger than normal

I just switched this week. Lotta monitor research. I decided to get an IPS panel at 144hz with freesync even though I'm using nvidia gfx. 27" 1440p. I do like the look but yah the UI elements a bit tougher to use for now. I'm still using default so I'm gonna start messing around with custom ones. The new FTE station is finally done. No more tech to buy. Depression setting in. Golf soon tho
