Hey guys! I downloaded and put in the most recent patch for P99. But when I get into the character screen it says my spell files are outdated. Can someone help please?

Re download a fresh copy from the main page and move the files in again. This time turn off your firewall / AV program

Exactly. Maybe 1 in 100 times I log in will return this error message. A quick restart and it loads just fine. If it happens twice in a row it wouldn't hurt to reload the spell files.

I've been having the same problem. I downloaded and extracted the newest patch from the front page (twice), and restarted my computer a few times, but I still keep getting this error.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hey all, I found the solution for me.

I've been extracting the files to the wrong directory. Double check and make sure they you're NOT extracting the files to the EverQuest Titanium folder. That's not the actual EQ system files.

Do a search for EverQuest in your system and locate the correct folder that way. You might need to check the properties of your EQ shortcut - that will tell you where the main folder is located.

Hope that helps somebody out there.
