Nobody in Solusek A

So I just wanted to get some feedback, as i've been camping (30 cleric) in Solusek A for the past few days and the place has been completely empty. Does anyone go to Sol A anymore?

I loved Sol A when I was leveling... but I also leveld up in lower guk when people didnt farm it 100%

Sol A was always busy when I leveled my three characters through that level range. It's surprising to hear that it has been empty lately.

I spent many days in there myself, met alot of great players whom I'm still friends with even today, a year and some later. Though I think these days, it's all about being PL'd, players would rather get PL'd to 50 than play the game and enjoy the content.

I think they're all in upper guk for some reason.. I always see groups there.

...or they have already enjoyed the content with their previous level 50s and are wanting to experience Kunark with different characters, so they are PL'in these other chars in anticipation.

Your right Sol A is usually real empty. Every so often im able to find a few people there and make a grp. And yes, U Guk is always packed but Im too high for that really and am having the same trouble finding populated places to grp at my lvl (30ish).

Ive found that MM seems to be the most populated at this lvl. Anyone else got good spots for grps at this lvl?

When I was leveling up there was always at least a group or 2 at either the bar or king. This was a couple of months ago when I was around level 30 though. Theres a TON of places to get exp around that level however, uguk, paw (byog), HHK, and a ton of solo spots.

was awesome fun in there awhile ago, was funny when you were pulling and you would run thru the tunnels and pass 2-3 other camp pullers lookin for mobs :P

For that lvl range, people usually hang out in MM / Paw, ya know, that weird little gap between too low and just right for like SolB or something.

SolA still wins for PLing though. PLer's prolly buy the zone out so they're twice as efficient and look like they do a great job and get word of mouth advertising and sell more PLs!

Even less go to Cazicthule which is sad. Love that zone.

I think the population at that level is just pretty low. If there is more than 2 tanks online at that level range its a miracle.

When i leveled up my ench there were always groups in sola. Sad to hear its empty now :(

And by everyone you mean IB. It was fixed pretty quickly once they all hit 50 if memory serves.

I saw 17 people there last night, and at least 12 of them were 30-35.. so ya. Maybe you're doing it wrong! :P

yea last night sola was in pretty good shape but still really just one group at bar and some higher lvls camping other spots. and I was one of thoes 17 people.

That's an issue fixed by adjusting your max framerate in options.

When is a good level to take groups here? I never leveled in Sol A before. Lower 20's?

mid/upper 20's i would say and up.

Actually the lag issue seems to be dependent on how long I am in the zone and where. It seems to be worse in the north end of the zone for whatever reason. The longer I am in the north end the worse the lag gets. Just love to click on a door and it takes several seconds for it to open - that is how I test to see if I am lagging.

But otherwise, my rogue has had some fun in the zone lately.

This is exactly the issue that's fixed by adjusting your framerate, i'm pretty sure.

Well I am going to bring my alt and some RL buddies here if the zone is always empty. 28 rogue, 28 shaman, and 28 ranger all twinks so look for us for groupage.

Sol A was the only zone that didn't have a bugged exp penalty/bonus. It was available to everyone and people from every guild leveled there.

People ended up going to other zones when their experience penalties/bonuses were fixed, though.

Nice to see all the slander/libel has created another false history though.
