This was investigated by uthgaard a few months back but it's still happening. Sometimes in certain parts of the zone, you will randomly aggro mobs from halfway across the zone that are nowhere near you. On the water path between the spiders camp and the hall near the swamp zoneline for example, I aggroed a froglok ritualist (or realist, not sure which one..) and some others, killing me. This happened while I was at really low health but I dunno if that makes a difference.

Similarly, on the stairs between the spiders and the scryer camp, my enchanter would almost always aggro half the zone (I think after I charmed mobs around the area but I'm also not positive on this).

I don't have any screenshots of the more recent train because my client crashed when I tried to take a screenshot the normal way, but I still thought I'd make a thread about it and add some pictures if it happens again.

Bump. This seems to happen whenever I'm in Uguk - I hear "Frrrrooooak!" a whole bunch of times, and suddenly I get lethally trained. Is it really just me?

This happens on your bard, right? Sure you're not AoEing anything or AoEing a buff which attempts to connect with a player engaged with a frog?

What you're describing has never happened to me across a couple different characters.

It's never happened on my Bard, only on my Enchanter and my Ogre warrior.

This has actually happened to me in Highkeep. I'll be sitting in an empty room up on the main floor, and Captain Bosec will run from the bank area straight to me.

I smell a line of sight tweak gone wrong.

I really hope you're not implying what I think you are.

It could be a matter of the serverside map file needs rebuilt. Many of these are old and the zone code to build them is better now. I have been working on getting a new set of maps built, to fix any potential LoS issues or weird stuff. But going through the configuration for each map takes about 10 minutes and frankly there are a lot of maps.

Since the last patch mobs ignoring walls much worse than before. Raidmobs too we had vox warp to the king room, looked like people got aggro trough the wall, and then she bugged out. Same thing happened to FGs.

Yea, it's happening down in the tunnels near steal golem in Cazic. Saw it happen in Hate last night also. Mobs will bounce around, warp though walls, go under the ground and finally to you.

Permafrost and Solb has issues too...mobs going thru walls, pet pathing, and none of this was happening pre patch

In Highkeep there was some wacky stuff happening in the basement as well. Guards just appear out of nowhere (like 4-5 of them) after a couple goblins were trained. Then when they are done KSing us they all pathed back in different directions (still in the main room of the basement), all of them opting to teleport through the ceiling back to their original locations instead of using the stairs.

I would like to either report these guards for hacking or demand that my rogue also be given this teleporting technology!

This is also happening in Blackburrow. We were fighting some gnolls near the commander room (but sufficiently far away from it..). All of the sudden we got stuff which must have been from the top level because we had Gnoll Pups agroing us along with a pile of others including the commanders, elites, etc.
We did have a bard in the group (and a druid and monk). This also happened randomly in other areas of the zone..
