Could someone please explain Group XP bonuses and penalties

I'm wondering how EXP is divided when grouping with 2, 3, .. full 6 members.

Is there an XP bonus for full group?

Is it just an even split? such as 2 players = 50% of the exp per kill, 3 players = 33.33% of exp per kill and so on?

It honestly seems like the amount of exp i get for a solo kill isn't much less than the exp I get for a group of 6 kill. Seems like 75% of a solo kill at least.

Does anyone know how it works?

There is an xp bonus with grouping. XP is divided relative to the XP each person in the group has already. Note: With the release of Velious the class penalties were removed. Racial is still around.

I have always felt the wiki is wrong on this subject. IE i play solo and get 1% per every three kills, but when i duo with a monk same level i get 1% every 8 kills. Doesnt add up.

It's a long road, trying to work out the maths of it doesn't avoid that you're still going down it :p

It all depends on if you are the same level as each other and if anyone has a racial penalty, etc. And not just same, but same amount of exp technically.
