Has anyone run into an issue where sometimes (not always) the game will lock up when you select a server to connect to? Sometimes it prevents me from getting into the game at all.
Things I've tried:
- WinEQ (doesn't really work well for me, and crashes in other places)
- The multi-core/CPU Affinity fix
- Deleting eqclient.ini (sometimes fixes the problem, sometimes not)
- Fresh reinstall (twice)
- Compatibility mode for XP/98/etc.
I've run it both in fullscreen and in windowed mode while connecting. Sometimes I'll see the screen gamma change when I press "PLAY EVERQUEST!" but not always.
Any thoughts? Here's my dbg.txt.
