Jewelcrafting combine

When trying to combine Enchanted Gold Bar and Imbued Plains Pebble in a Jeweler's Kit to produce Imbued Golden Plains Earring (http://wiki.project1999.com/Imbued_Golden_Plains_Earring ), the message "You cannot combine these items in this container type!" Even with a Karana aligned character. Any help or news with this particular situation would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time!

Try an unenchanted bar and see what happens.

I'm fairly sure the imbued combines use unenchanted metal bars. The imbue is the magical part of the jewelry!

Same "You cannot combine these items in this container type!" message when attempted with Gold Bar and Imbued Plains Pebble, but thanks for the suggestion.
