Gnomish Vanishing Device (broken) Cannot Recharge

A tinkered item called..

[[ Gnomish Vanishing Device ]]

is not broken after this latest update.

Prior to this the item could be recharged by anyone using a Toolbox + Class 5 Mana Battery. Now the combine even if done by a tinkerer does not work.

Confirmed as a bug. This is on my list as something to fix but I was under the impression that this combine never worked on P99. Can you confirm if it used to work at some point in the past?

Not sure what kind of confirmation you're looking for. Nobody is going to save a screenshot of that working.

The character Varsity on RED99 is a 236 tinkerer and has been making my guild Gnomish Vanishing Devices, and everyone until now has been able to recharge the device appropriately with a class 5 mana battery and a toolbox combine. An example of a successful recharge I found in my logs is here.

That's a cleric (albeit a gnome one with no additional skill beyond 50 in tinkering) recharging a vanishing device prior to the newest patch.
