Was not a classic item for our era. Probably why it was pulled once someone brought this to their attention.

They've pulled non-classic GM awarded items in the past as well.

I refused to eat my candy corn because candy corn is the most disgusting edible thing ever invented. I'm thrilled it's gone from my inventory. My only real regret is that I was denied the satisfaction of stomping it into the mud myself.

In some of the mechanics to try to enforce a classic feel (25 target limit on PBAE, 46 level requirement on epics)... yes.

Not in the content however. I really cannot think of any items they let stay in game that are not classic to the era. Unless you really want to claim the Tunare items aren't classic just because there were only 5-10 recorded kills pre-Luclin and a certain item or two didn't drop from those kills.

The candy corn wasn't the only reward given out, it was part of it.
