why necros don't need clarity ?

I often meet necros with m'y chanter who don't need clarity. Why ?

the lich spells don't stack with breeze/clarity

pretty sure the lich ones provide more mana regen at their given level ranges also.

Still lose like 5 hp/tick and lifetaps are not very damage efficient. So when there's a friendly enc nearby I'd still prefer crack till level 49.

That's why you don't use lifetaps, use the lt dot and its way more efficient. Only use lifetaps if you need an immediate heal.

You are a number crunching purist, not a Necromancer.


Your math assumes the necromancer does nothing but stand around watching his health drain away.

People pay a lot plat for skeleton illusion! I will always go with lich just for the cool skeleton form!

Whenever i am healing on my necro, clarity is very welcome as i need my life for heals... makes me a more efficient healer. If i don't need to heal, clarity still is the more lazy option... sure i get more mana with lich, but at the same time i don't need to leech HPs with clarity, enabling me to use more efficient DPS spells.
