The unmolested fresh WoW pvp server from the Nost crew is rollin out ~mid January.

Truth be told, I think the red99 gamer community is fucking awesome. My largest regret about not playing here is not getting to play with the people.

So, are any of you fucks up for rolling on it hard, under one banner?

We have a month to get it together.

It kind of sucks that it will be after the holidays but the silver lining here is that if ya use the holidays to hang with the fam it will probably give you some leverage for neckbearding hard in the near future.

I think the people here are some of the more dedicated gamers I have ever encountered and to make it in that kind of environment we're gonna need dedicated people.

The last 4-7 times I participated on rerolling on a fresh server, either emu or live...

I follow all my "pals" they try to be underdogs and go Alliance every fucking time. Then I grind the shit out of the box and by the time I hit end game. Everyone quits or plays something else. Then im stuck with a shitty alliance char with a bunch of fucking kids.

Rolling horde even if I play by myself, shit it can't be any worse than playing on red for years.

Going horde for once I don't care if its 7 horde to one alliance. Alliance racials suck and im always stuck in a group with some faggot night elf jumping around needing on every loot that drops because a hunter can use it.

Undead Rogue or Tauren Shaman. Maybe Undead Priest.

My only question is.. this a fresh server everyone lvl 1 starting at the same time or are they doing char copies. If char copies im gonna keep playing red till I die.

ive been messing around on kronos2 and warmane (wotlk) the past 2 weeks. man paladins op as fuck in wraith. too bad they suck in vanilla.

i dont plan on raiding as much as world pvp. i prefer hybrids because to me they are more fun and you are able to heal/tank/dps in 5 mans without a specific spec. just carry around 2 sets of gear and you are g2g.

Those dudes on K2 and Nost would log on opposing faction toons to rage at you for killing them. Was great fun.

I honestly much prefer the challenge in pve coming from managing hard to kill mobs as a team vs running around questing to exp. Hence I always liked EQ lvl grinding vs the theme park mmo's. Don't have the spirit to grind up all those stale ass WoW quests.

Wish they would do another EQ type game that wasn't just faceroll grinding like the Asian MMO's.

nah Camelot will be unfinished and under-developed, just like every game created since 2007.

the workers don't work anymore. They do what they are paid, the hustle is "settled in".

EQ was made with a skeleton crew before it was sold to SOE. The budget was 6.1 million.

You see the zone design, itemization, and effort that went into EQ I hope? They hustled in the trenches. What other game has had that aside from WoW and Blizzard? Has TESO figured out how to spend money wisely yet? Or still blowing 300-400 million on people either can't or don't know how to work.

The mediocrity is deeper than just 1 guy making design decisions. It has to do with no hustle in the trenches. The coders got better and better, but the design continues to be apathetic. Look how disgusting Live EQ got with the uninspired shitty generic dungeons. No effort.

Curt Schilling's company is a prime example of this if you read the expose` articles on the employee culture and the socialist atmosphere at 38 Studios. It was all about pay for nothing. "Make me the Vice President of Donuts". All cheeky laughs, no actual talent or work being done.
