Admiring all the bluebies I saw browsing this thread Friday night who declined to vote.

As a senior mouthpiece for red99, I think I speak for everyone here when I say we've all envisioned the dukes death and the manner in which he'd die over the years. (In EQ)

In hindsight, I too would have voted the populist option, to bash his head in, but I really wanted to point out how poor the duke really is. Get this guy a pizza. Hoping the duke doesn't keel over before I get a chance to stomp his bifocals into dust so hard it causes a low grade atomic reaction.

I don't know much about the duke but in all seriousness, i'd like to see the man return and do right as far as running a guild. Except this time, conquer the server only to leave it this time on his own terms... after everyone else has been crushed.

The duke is a powerful force indeed, and it shows in the lack of votes from ex-Nihilium members and folks who enjoyed playing against the duke.

I suspect that many abstained because they don't want to participate in what is believed to be an "anti-duke" activity, when really its just all in good fun. In retrospect, I'd probably have made this poll anonymous, but I do credit the brave few who didn't scrunch up their noses like a 6-eyed zol and walk away.

I do wish Derubael were here to vote (and to provide the golden roadmap to Freeport.
