I just died, the game crashed while zoning (which happens all the damn time ffs), and now when I try to log in I get this error:

An unknown error occurred while trying to join the server.

I've tried with/without WinEQ2, tried overwriting the latest patch files, tried quick connect, tried rebooting... Any ideas what the problem is?

Usually means the login server is having issues and will resolve itself shortly. If not, then it might be an issue on your end.

Yep...this happened to me around midnight EST. Crashed while zoning, try to get back on and: "An unknown error occurred while trying to join the server."

Happened to me around 1:30am east and just tried again at 8:30am and still same issue.

Having issues as well. Try to login, get a connection error, try logging in again, get to server select, select Play Everquest, kicks me back to login screen, get "cannot login to the everquest server."

Anyone else having issues? I'm assuming login server is acting up. Just wondering so I can go do something else for a while and check back this evening.
