I saw some of this at the grocery a store over the weekend and almost bought it. I thought better of it though and left it in the freezer where it belonged. As delicious as it is, I am never able to finish a carton before it inevitably grows ice crystals and turns all gummy and shit.
Still though... I may just get some and submit the rest to my privileged trash can, or sink I suppose if I dispose of it before it goes gummy. Oh! Maybe I feed it to kitty. I know they ok with milk. They ok with peppermint? I never know with things that aren't meat. I vaguely remember reading onions and chocolate can kill dogs, but have never been sufficiently unhappy with one to claim firsthand knowledge here. Hmm.
Well, anyway, what about you? What do you think?

If you have it at you're store try the Talenti Gelato. Ive never had an issue with this brand getting gooey even after more than a month in the freezer. I like ice cream. But only as an occasional treat. Talent is really good albeit a bit pricey.

P'good :D
would buy/order again!
I think the key part is to ration it properly, that way you don't blow the experience in one sitting.
The stores near me sell smaller ones if a big one isn't your thing. May be worth looking into.
Peppermint use to be my favorite, then I tried coffee and never looked back. :o
Peppermint milkshakes are still pretty awesome.

Ricotta's not really like most cheese. It's the same stuff that's in cannolis.

Cats are lactose intolerant and processed sugar is destructive for everything I think except for ants and cockroaches.
The only way I ever buy peppermint ice cream is if I dump magic shell on it, and I haven't done that in decades. Last ice cream I picked up was reeses buttercup. I usually get chocolate moose tracks. But unless it's either chocolate or vanilla I don't bother with it, unless it's neapolitan.

Ohhhh, that is good to know. None for kitty then I guess.
Wait, are you saying you have NEVER had peppermint icecream Days?
Gonna have to try the tea too. Thanks to that, J.

No just that I haven't bought any in like 15+ years. Not when there is sooo much chocolate ice cream to be had. I don't hate it, it's just lower on the list of the other 300 varieties of ice cream in the supermarket freezers.
