Disclaimer: Dunno but daaaaang.. :D
I haven't done extensive research on this, but I have done some, ...well quite a lot compared to what maybe the avg person thinks of "research" these days. But in comparison to other things, a drop in the bucket. Not just ancient beliefs of it, but modern talk of it and scientific observations by the results of possibly such an object existing.
On the different views of it, I tend to lean towards it being a double star, likely a brown dwarf (near invisible). Some call it Nemesis (http://www.space.com/22538-nemesis-star.html), but I don't like to attach all the baggage with that name. But nonetheless, the general nemesis star theory is imo the most probable if in fact there is something to any of this.
'What's it do?' It's possible that something is in orbit of the sun, a very very big orbit which swings in close to the sun every some-thousand/million years (out by Saturn or so). In this, it explains the very-very odd layout of our solar system; i.e. Jupiter is most definitely in the wrong place but should be closer to the sun. But it's something that possibly slams through the middle of our solar system causing wide scale disruptions.
Well lets see... here is a good documentary about an hour: https://youtu.be/TbqquQEvhok How NASA is totally into it and covered by MSM yet deceptively so.
Some shorter vids: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAIV_6lcbIQ
https://youtu.be/j1UE-8MkAIQ
Why should you know about it? So if something does happen to show up, you're not caught by surprise and simply feed on UN/NASA/MSM's spin of it to herd you like sheep into some NWO garbage. If it's there, it's a natural thing, not some ancient Alien civilization crud or whatever. But consider the disruptions that would be from it. Weather or not there would be any direct impact on the earth of some serious nature, people are dumb and would panic, causing disruptions.

Of course it's all false because none of the science behind this works considering the earth (like the universe) is flat and 2 dimensional, but you did a good job regardless.

Only because it's data. Just like data flat on a hard drive or in memory chips, but it's calculated as a 3D representation of space. Just like we observe the results with a monitor by our eyesight. In reality, I don't fathom it, but the physics model is certainly a 3D calculation by observation of it's result. I mean if that is the true model of the universe, which my spidey senses tingle around a ~66% chance. I mean when you say flat, my meaning is really-really flat, everything. Yet flat as possibly being on a curved/convex surface and some sort of projection mechanism as a holograph would work sort of.
Really doesn't change anything though. Rather than false, I view it as an off/on :D
One thing for sure, everyone is looking for this thing. There are a lot of beliefs and meanings around it, some rather ancient. If it does show up, I think a lot of people will be pushing a narrative around it, in some cases like black cube cult stuff. But for the basic concept of this thing, I don't think it over the top as some make it out to be https://youtu.be/m-ZG2nyUXiY :D it's not that..
Angushjalmur

Nah it's all actually flat, even in it's rendering.
Close one eye and tell me how much depth perception you have. It's an optical illusion caused by having two viewpoints working together.

how large is the gravity well?
Daywolf

Luminosity somewhere around ten-thousandth of the sun. In the range of 1000 Fahrenheit, make some nice Chinese food with it. Mostly IR spectrum. Obscured even further in the oort cloud, though possibly on this side now if correct and these anomalies coming from around 5AU is it (from that last vid).
http://i.imgur.com/gvF9zff.jpg
As for mass, well depends on it's size I guess. Heavier than Jupiter is a safe bet. So yeah it could toss some rocks around. It could even send a planet rogue. Space is pretty big though, ya know? I'm less concerned about that.
But if it's a brown dwarf, it's emissions would probably be more of the concern compared to it's gravitational field. While it could possibly throw some rocks at us, it's particles/gasses would certainly have some impact on our weather and our geomagnetic field, our magnetosphere. It would also cause effect on the sun. I guess depends how close it's orbit, but with such a long circuit it's probably not too close in.
Odd things are happening though, such as with the increased helium, being bombarded from not only the sun but from outside in the solar system. NASA is saying disruptions from way far off out of the solar system with he solar winds, but the angle it's hitting us from is changing as we make our circuit around the sun. You know, as like in radio frequency triangulating?
As others are saying somewhere around 5AU. The magnetosphere collapsing? Well more like being condensed down last month, that's better put since a full collapse would put it on the ground. But certainly it was condensed down, almost to the point of needing to evacuate the ISS. I was watching it for those few days, interesting. That was during the last full moon as I recall.
Now that's pretty close though, 5AU, ranges it at about the distance of Jupiter, but maybe more like 5AU+. They are saying out of Orion which is a little left of the moon right now. I see all these supposed photos, but they are trying to track something behind the sun which is opposite side out there by Libra right now. But 5AU, other side of the asteroid belt, Jupiter and outward.
Edit: and just to say, some are certain it's a conspiracy, that NASA knows the truth, but I think NASA just doesn't know at this point. Or they might have figured it out recently, which being why 0bama gave that executive order last month about "space weather events". If that is the case, certainly not all of NASA knows, or someone would have leaked it.

Astronomers at Caltech and elsewhere have estimated the mass of planet 9 to be in the range of 9-12 earth masses https://www.caltech.edu/news/caltech-researchers-find-evidence-real-ninth-planet-49523. Brown Dwarf stars are discussed in terms of Jupiter Masses, which is 317.83 earth masses https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jupiter_mass. The expected range of a brown dwarf star is 13-75 Jupiter Masses; in short, there is no evidence for a brown dwarf or failed star existing in our solar system.
I think it's fascinating that there could be a large, undiscovered planet out there. But let's not get carried away in our excitement. Perhaps read a little more and youtube less! ;)

I expect the undetectable mass to be a black hole of reason, or a BHOR. It has damn near sucked us dry and that is why so many (including NASA) are so concerned (repulsed) by its bombardment. After having so thoroughly demented us that not even our magnetosphere has been able to escape retardation, a BHOR now bombard us with virgin truths distilled of the impure reason rent from our minds.

air filters arrived. too bad they are worthless until I finish the dust abatement. only 1000 more hours of hard labor to go.
o yea I did get a calculation for total dust accumulation. I visited my childhood room (untouched, never dusted or cleaned- no need). I used memory and calculated current dust in the room ( FULL ROOM estimate, all surfaces).
My childhood room accumulated dust at a rate of 10-15 years, versus 7-10 days in my current apartment. Almost had a nervous breakdown. Still on the verge really, that's fucking terrifying.

di did Jarn like bottle his mojo and start selling it around these parts to "improve" teh postings? The Mayan Calendar, 2012, Nibiru? End of the world shit, right? In fact I'm still not talking about Nibiru, that's more about black cube cult stuff.
Yeah I typed it in the topic, but the context of my posts are on a possible brown dwarf, which may show you are just posting and not reading. A planet wouldn't be out-gassing helium into the solar system which is what has caught my interest in recent months, and odd solar winds. Not saying there couldn't be a planet X, but all that 2012 stuff had to do with the end of the Mayan calendar and "Nibiru" because they added them together as some sort of cataclysmic end of world sign. They were wrong, as I knew they would be. World isn't ending, dude.
Weird asses stuff about Nibiru, ancient legends it's the coming of the cataclysm and the dawn of the new age/awakening type junk. That the planet is populated by those demigods from the precursor to the Egyptian Pharaohs etc etc. That's why you gotta be careful when looking at these Nibiru sites, they wanna turn you into priests for their human sacrifices one day, or just sacrifice you heh.
Nope, purely scientific exploration here. And pretty cool Trump just mentioned today he's going to reform NASA, put them back on track to being an actual space agency again. If he can clean that shit up, we might actually get something done, then quit relying on others for... about everything.

Dawning of the age of Aquarious, spooky shit or nothing?eh well it is what it is, just a lot of paths to the same thing. You know, the sky was considered magical, influential, and a part of everyone's lives to some degree (no netflix I guess). Be it as a calendar for when to plant, a compass in the night, or to tell the tales of mythology or future events. They would look up and try to figure out what their gods were doing.
The meaning of Aquarius is that when that constellation moved into the appropriate position on the zodiac, it would begin the promised utopia. It may be "new age", but it's not new. It just means the coming age or next age. The belief spans back through history, through the cultures and empires, come and gone.

I'm not following your reasoning in bringing NASA into this. I linked the Caltech study as evidence. At the bottom of the page they even have a link to the full report in PDF form, so if you feel qualified to criticize their conclusions, knock yourself out. Michael Brown is a well known astronomer, and I'm not aware of any direct connections to NASA.
The issue is that the mathematical evidence shows an object around 10 earth masses affecting the orbits of Keiper belt objects. That's hundreds, if not thousands of times less mass than would be needed for a brown dwarf. If something that massive were part of our solar system and still undiscovered, there would be much more significant unexplained variance in the known planetary and Keiper belt orbits.
As for that youtube video, I don't know who that guy is or what his data sources are. As to the earth passing through hydrogen and helium clouds... well, space is not empty, and our solar system is not stationary. I'd imagine the planet passes through stellar clouds on a regular basis, and we don't usually even notice, because it's not a noteworthy event.

Link to my quote? I just ran forum search, I did not.
I put it in the "tin foil hat" poll thread, not because I believe it, but because I gave people the option to name their interest by category on mysteries/conspiracies etc. I didn't post it as list of things I believe in, I believe far less conspiracy theories than the typical leftist does with all their left-wing conspiracy theories. But when I do, they are usually proven true at some point..
Another time I linked a video called Nibiru, along with jade helm and skynet vid lanks. The video wasn't actually about "nibiru" or the belief in it, but how countries are building these huge underground bunkers, to be cautious about what the govt is doing here. So I believe in it now? Have been warning you about nibiru? Having posted about the underground bunker "conspiracy theory"? Oh wait, conspiracy fact, I just recently posted on 30 million Russians going underground for that recent drill into such bunkers that don't exist.
Then the only other time outside of this thread I mention nibiru, was mentioning HRC and her dems believing it, over their wikileaks. I've only been warning of people believing it, or more specifically the govt. I've only shown you what the govt is doing to prepare for it by their belief. I still warn of it.
Anyway you claimed it already hit us, now you say it doesn't exist. Then you claim I believe in Nibiru and have been warning people about it. This is a bad trolling to waste my time. I don't mind if people want to talk about nibiru because they believe it, or want to tell me I'm wrong and that it's not just some left-wing conspiracy and tell me another view of it, but that's not what your doing, only being ridiculous.
