Mercs of Norrath is great!
and guys sorry I have not been on too much recently as work ahs been kicking my butt. Plus, Mom's in town and staying with me (she's 5 years retired) for a bit. Which is cool because my place is clean and the laundry's done- LOL only thing is no time for some nice long eq sessions- but only temporarily.

Just to put my two copper in, Mercs of Norrath is a ridiculously awesome guild. That Cazic Thule group was amazing. If anyone ever needs a hand with anything just pm me or do the guild chat thing :P Hope to adventure with you all again soon!

Mercs of Norrath was my guild back on Rallos, the original plan was to base the guild on the idea of the Black Company books... but it never really panned out like that. But i am attached to the guild name, fond memories and all that. So to answer the question -- nothing, no payroll for members. sorry

Great guild if you're recovering from brain surgery and need to find people that you're still smarter than.
In the beginning I wanted to start a small guild for 1 maybe 2 groups with this kind of name, only the best of the best... have raiding guilds take us along because we get shit done. I remember a few guys on Rodcet nife that would tag along with Ascent, EiE/Dol and a couple other guilds just because they love to raid and help whoever whenever. They were also the best equipped on the server at the time.
Don't think that'd work on this server tho.

Just thought I should pop in and say something. Mercs of Norrath is probably the friendliest guild I've been in since the live servers in 1999.

We are in open recruitment, the guild seems to be primarily in their 30s and 40s at this point though I am sure many of us have lower lvl alts, so we are still allowing anyone to seek membership.

I was among them on my old Troll SK Brik (account sold), there was an internal issue within the guild that caused it to fracture... it might well have been something to do with a bunch of the higher levels at the time raiding with another guild who didn't like us. All very hazy in my mind.
I disappeared to < Young > where things were a lot better - great times had there for sure :) ... that too had it's day, but there's still some great social guilds on the server.
