New character disconnecting when logging into Rivervale

I tried creating a new Halfling character but every time I try to log in I get disconnected. Created new characters from different cities as a test, they all logged in with no issues, it just seems to be Rivervale. Granted I am somewhat new to P1999, highest lvl toon I have is lvl 15. Also after I get disconnected the character I created is gone so I tried doing it several times in a row but character is still gone/deleted when I return to character screen. Any help/ideas would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I have tried halflings of all the various classes, there are 2 that will not log into game. The Paladin class will try logging in then I get the message "Zone is unavailable" then boots me back to character selection and the Ranger class just disconnects me from game and back to login screen. Not sure if it has anything to do with the Deities but both only show The Rainkeeper as their deity, is this correct?

halflings can't be rangers or paladins 'til luclin timeline i believe...

It usually stops you before you can create them though...

Ok thank you much. Haven't played in about 15 years, never thought about that just assumed it wouldn't allow you to make the character. Thanks again for the response.
